Poetry for Boys

My boys love poetry most days, but when it was -5 degrees outside, we decided to spice things up a bit:

Up into the cherry tree,
who should climb but little me....

It works very well to jumprope.

And this project finally inspired Charles to finish memorizing The Cow:

He made us cream with all his might, and I made apple tart.

Oh... good Mom!! And Charles looks so much like you in this picture!! We need to make cream with apple tart when we do The Cow again. But I'm stumped...what was the first poem?
