"But, he's...!" and then, "Wait." and finally and satisfyingly, "Oh darn...." led me to believe that he had gotten the message. Whew!
The next thing I heard was Thomas' voice laughingly saying to sibling, "Don't stand next to me...you're disturbing my inner peace!"
