Had a conversation about this just last weekend. I asked a friend, "How's homeschooling going?" She quickly peeked around and said, "I just want to make sure no one else is listening....."
My brother seems to have the same sorts of issues as we do.

The truth? They can't handle the truth. My kids were so happy they got a smiley face yesterday...yes, we've resorted to assigning facial expressions to our school days. Lots of blank looks.
